The Townsend Cup Invitational (TCI) is held every year in this Houston suburb, and it is named after World Champion and Olympic gymnast Sean Townsend.

Sean brought the invitational to this community in 2013, and he’s been the co-owner of Reflex Pearland Gymnastics Academy since 2015. He’s focused on supporting the sport and strengthening the program through this memorable event.
